HoF Inductees 2023

Founded by Prof Gordon Masterton in 2011 during his term as President, the Scottish Engineering Hall of Fame celebrates the contribution made by Scottish Engineers. A selection panel, made up from representatives from many engineering institutions and organisations with an interest in engineering, meet twice a year and discuss merits of nominations made. Once agreed, new inductees are announced at the James Watt Dinner which is usually held in October each year.

Last year four inductees were announced:

• David Boswell Reid 
• Sir Alfred Yarrow 
• Dr David Milne 
• Prof Sir Jim McDonald 

Tonight the inductees for 2025 will be revealed!!
