Scottish Maritime Cluster - Maritime STEM event

Overview: The conference aims to highlight the extensive range of STEM applications within the Scottish Maritime industry. It offers exhibitors an opportunity to display their innovative STEM technologies developed for the maritime sector. This will support the core purpose of the promotion of STEM within education, enticing young minds to look into maritime STEM as a career and as such, there will be an invited presence of schools.
Objectives: Our primary objective is to promote maritime STEM as a career. Our secondary goal is to provide a platform for our members and the broader maritime industry in Scotland. This event will allow them to showcase key STEM technologies, share best practice, enhance their company profiles, generate new business opportunities, and network with industry professionals.
Future Opportunity: Depending on its success, this conference has the potential to become an annual event. Additionally, it’s worth noting that World Maritime Day will be observed on 26th September 2026, so there may be opportunity to have this reflected in the date.
