Choice on Units of Measurement

The Institution responded to a request for input regarding a proposal by the Metrology Policy Team at the Office for Product Safety and Standards.  This proposal was the reinstatement of imperial units of measure for consumer transactions to replace the metric units currently required.  IESConsult did not find any members of the Institution who were even slightly supportive of this idea.  It was widely condemned.
